Liminal space - Aishwarya Rai grew up in the UK listening to stories about her Nepalese heritage from her mother. Intergenerational migrant spaces are often translational and liminal, caught up between two worlds. But with globalisation and the internet, the division of spaces by sovereignty of borders or cultures are no longer rigid. People are no longer afraid to stand out or initiate conversations around identity. Liminal space is an ongoing project, documenting South Asian communities in the UK, analysing fashion culture and lifestyle.
