There's always tension between our private and our public presence. I explore where these intersect in everyday life. I am interested in the humor that comes from the interconnection and isolation between people as they move throughout their day, as well as the transcendent moments that arise in response to life and life only. I impose upon these instances capturing things that are usually passed unseen.
The way life changes can be tragic. Having our flaws be lovingly exposed shows the blessings and burdens of being alive. With my photos I expose the humor in being in the world and am drawn to human contact, empathy and humility of human beings in their respective quotidian lives.
